Thinkpad ultra docking station not working, Lenovo's fix was apparently a bios upgrade which did nothing to help. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks. (corporate computer?) I'm not certain why Battery 1 shows a % but is not charging. May be useful for those who want to repair their ThinkPads. I'm a very happy owner from several ThinkPads, and I'm try to buy every Little accesory to upgrade to the machine limit. T580 has strange malfunction - when I turn off the PC after booting up again, the keyboard is not responding. I cannot wirte, nor use any other functions, but "fn-s" seems to be working. So, the usb-c port closest to the back will not consistently stay connected. Thankfully the other port still works. Possibly need to update drivers? It seems o work fine on AC power. i assume the battery 0 means there is no internal battery installed. I know the laptop only Jul 29, 2023 · The best Thinkpad models are generally the T series (XP and 7: T60, T61, T400 or T500, T410 or T510, T420 or T520, T430 or T530, and for 7 only: T440p or T540p, T450 or T550, T460 or T560), try to get one without dedicated graphics, and be prepared to do a thermal repaste on any old laptop.
